Welcome to Pet Resources
A few years ago I worked in a pet store for about 2 years. There was some misinformation, but much of that was due to new animals being imported and there just wasn't any information. A few months ago I went back. I lasted 6 weeks and was appalled by the uncaring and uninformed employees this time around. Most didn't care to learn much about what they were selling at all. That encouraged me to update this site and get everything up to date, information and coding wise. Enjoy the new look -- Mia Woodman
Newest Additions:
December 5, 2011: Grrr. Contact page is broken for the moment while I chase down how scripts work in my new hosting account. The five or six robots that send me spam every day will have to wait for me to fix the form. FIXED.
March 2, 2011: Fixed the Side Menu so it now works on iphones or ipads. It also checks through W3C now that I'm missing the hacks the Spry Menu had. I replaced it with a css one based on the Son of SuckerFish. I did end up keeping some filenames just to avoid changing the included on 500 pages. I did lose a hover ability, but I'm not quite ready to go chew through the SpryMenu.js to figure out how to get it back.
February 10, 2011: I'm adding a contact form page (I'm not sure where the old one went), and just finished streamlining all the pages. I changed the menu so it loads through javascript so I can change it without opening 500 plus files every time. I also finally restyled the species profile tables. The page CSS is finally all on one stylesheet, and I'll be combining the spry styles if I can over the next week. None of this would be such a big deal if I still had Dream Weaver and could have just used my templates. I still have to see about altering the spry javascript so iphones can access it by tapping as hover isn't working at all.
All existing Species Profiles in Aquariums and Reptiles have been completed. Cats and Dogs have had menu and index page changes. Images still needed for Small Mammals section.
