Navigating with Netscape 4.7 or below
If you have Netscape 4.7 or below this site is slightly harder
to navigate. Links will often be in a dark color other than black.
Many links will also be italicized. CSS is used to control these
elements, and make them "light up" or underline on mouseover,
but Netscape 4.7 does not completely support the hover command.
The pointer always becomes a finger pointer to indicate a link if
you are in doubt. On this page links are gray.
Submitting Photos
We are always looking for more photos. Especially wanted are good
species identification images of fish that are either not yet represented
by a pic, or your pic makes it easier to identify the fish. Fish
tank images also accepted, as are images of small mammals, dogs
and cats. Any image accepted will be listed as taken by the sender,
unless otherwise noted, with a link back to your e-mail, and / or
web site, whichever is preferred. With any image please include
information as to the identity of the animal.
Please only send pictures you have the rights to.
I have had several people send me pics from different websites,
and just as I don't want my images stolen, others do not either.
For fish images a scientific name, common name, suspected sex and
any special notes are appreciated. Small mammal, dog or cat images,
include the animals name, and breed if identifiable.

About the Site
This site debuted as a personal website at home.earthlink.net/~miawoodman
in 1999. That site was taken down in October of 2003. Two years
later, in 2002 after many revisions it was moved to www.petresources.net.
The purpose of this site is knowledge. Too many people have a question
about a pet and can't get the information, or don't know where to
get the information. This is especially true in the Aquarium world.
Often rare or uncommon fish are not photographed except in very
expensive books, and most people can not afford to buy the entire
set of books to figure out what the $5 fish they picked up eats.
