Anabantoids
All fish in this group have
the ability to breate atmospheric air due to a lung. Many live
in low oxygen or very still murky water. With few exceptions they
are all fairly easy to breed. Many build bubblenests and care
for their young. All are predatory, though mainly to insects and
worms. Most are also semi-aggressive. Click
here for more info on Anabantoids.
