Stats:	Adult Size: 4 3/4 " (12 cm) Temp: 73-82 F (22-28 C) Tank: 24" (60 cm) minimum
Requirements:	Bettas love floating plants and dim lighting. They also need access to open air above water, as they are atmospheric air breathers. Periodically they take gulps from the surface.
Diet:	Carnivore. All types, earthworms appreciated
Breeding:	Males: longer fins, more colorful, Mouthbrooder.
Sociability:	Can be kept in pairs with lots of cover, of just single males. Schooling fish a possibility.
