Kingsley's Bush Fish (Ctenopoma kingsleyae)

Synonyms: Kingsley's Ctenopoma
Stats: Adult Size: 7.6" (19 cm)
Temp: 77-82 F(25-28 C)
Tank: 48" (120 cm) minimum
Requirements: Floating plants appreciated, access to the water surface. A strong cover also a good idea.
Diet: Small live, and prepared accepted.
Breeding: Male has spiney patches under his eyes and on gill covers. They lay a very large number of floating eggs.
Sociability: Pairs, Avoid keeping with other anabantoids, due to aggression. Will eat smaller fish, and be very testy during breeding.
