Stats:

Adult Size: 24 " (60 cm)
Temp: 71-82 F (20-28 C)
Tank: 72" (60 cm) (short side must be 24" or more) minimum

Requirements:
This fish gets very large, and needs a very large tank to go with its size. Not picky about water parameters.
Diet:
Omnivore. All types, earthworms appreciated. Willingly eats almost anything.
Breeding:
Breeding can be a problem due to size. In a large enough tank easy, eggs laid on plants. Males have fin extensions. Pair can stay with eggs.
Sociability:
Young fish may fight, older fish can be peaceful or tempermental, depends on fish. Tankmates must be of comparitive size.
