Adult Size: 3" (7.5 cm)
Temp: 77-82 F (25-28 C)
Tank: 24" (60 cm) minimum

Requirements:
Floating Plants appreciated. No fin nippers.
Diet:

Omnivore, not very hard to feed. Likes small live as well.

Breeding:
Bubblenesting, sometimes caves. Males have longer fin rays.
Sociability:
Pairs, or singly. Can be kept in a community tank setting.
Related Spec:
Parosphromenus deissneri -- Licorice Gourami
Special Info:
These fish are one of the less common anabantoids.
