Stats:

Adult Size: 2 in (5 cm)
Temp: 80-83 F (26-29 C)
Tank: 24 in (60 cm) minimum

Requirements:
Prefer darker tanks, floating plants, blackwater tanks are also good. pH: <<6.5 hardness: very soft
Diet:
Small live.
Breeding:
Mouth Brooder. Males often have light edged anal fin, can be very hard to sex, getting a group may be easier. Transfer fry to rearing tank, feed Artemia.
Sociability:
Possible Tankmates include Harlequin Rasbora and Eye-Spot Rasbora. Can be very aggressive with each other, and larger tanks are recommended to keep groups.

Special Info:
These fish can be very reserved, and often you don't see their best behavior with tankmates. Only very calm fish can be kept with them.
