Rainbowfish
Most Rainbowfish come from Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. A very colorful family of fish, most supremely suited to aquariums. They should be kept in groups of only one species per tank, as they can interbreed. Hybrids are frowned upon, for in the wild these fish would never meet, and most are interested in pure forms.

| Water Parameters: | Most Rainbowfish prefer harder water with a pH around 7-8. |
| Temperament: | Most are schooling fish, and all should have more females in the school than males |
