Stats:

Adult Size: 6-8" (18-20 cm)
Temp: 73-80 F (23-28 C)
Tank: 36" (90 cm) minimum

Requirements:
Requires at least one tight hiding place. Plants appreciated as well. Driftwood.
Diet:
Algae, Algae tablets and sinking foods.
Breeding:
Males have cheek bristles, and females often have no bristles. They breed in tight caves and normally will not eat its young.
Sociability:
Males may fight if kept together. Normally very peaceful, can handle itself with semi-aggfressive tankmates.
Related Spec:
There are many species in the bristlenose family, but many are not well documented.
Special Info:
Very good algae eater.
