Stats:

Adult Size: 1 1/3" (3.5 cm)
Temp: 72-77 F (22-25 C)
Tank: 24" (60 cm) minimum

Requirements:
Hiding places a must, and these catfish prefer a sandy substrate with plants. Slight current.
Diet:
Small live, carnivore fare. Sinking tablets and Shrimp pellets attacked with gusto.
Breeding:
Breeds much like Corydoras, Cooler water is a stimulant in breeding condition. Females rounder than males. Slight current appreciated.
Sociability:
Peaceful schooling fish. Prefers groups of more than 10 of its own kind. Should only be kept with other "minifishes", or very peaceful others.

Special Info:
Commonly mistaken for a Corydoras, can be differentiated by the length of its nose and overall height to length ratio.
