Stats:

Adult Size: 3" (7.5 cm)
Temp: 76-80 F (24-26 C)
Tank: 24 " (60 cm) minimum

Requirements:
Planted tank, hiding places a must. loves to burrow in sand.
Diet:
Small invertebrates, Shrimp and other sinking pellets taken also. Anything that lands on them. Will crunch on smaller snails and shrimp.
Breeding:
Breed in pairs, female much plumper. No care of eggs or fry.
Sociability:
Doesn't care, will eat much smaller tankmates.

If you have sand you will rarely see this fish as it is completely nocturnal.
