Julii Cory (Corydoras julii)

Stats: Adult Size: 1.5" (4.75 cm)
Temp: 72-77 F (22-26 C)
Tank: 30 " (70 cm) minimum
Requirements: At least a 20 gallon tank, caves and other hiding places needed, as well as plants to feel secure.
Diet: Small live, sinking tablets, carnivore fare.
Breeding: Often occurs after a slightly (1-2 degree) cooler water change. Female plumper and larger than males. Eggs affixed to aquarium decor and walls.
Sociability: Keep in groups of at least 3, peaceful with most inhabitants. do not combine with Botia spec. loaches.

This species is Commonly confused with:
Corydoras trilineatus -- Three Stripe Cory
Corydoras leopardus -- Leopard Cory
Corydoras reticulatus -- Network Catfish
Special Info: True Julii Corys are rare, most actually being Corydoras trilineatus, or leopardus.
