Stats:

Adult Size: 6" (15 cm)
Temp: 76-80 F ( 24-27C)
Tank: 36" (90 cm) minimum

Requirements:
Larger tank for these active fish. Floating plants are preferred.
Diet:
Carnivore, eat flake, frozen, live with no problems.
Breeding:
Compareable to cichlids. Male digs a pit and protects eggs from all other fish, including female. Remove male after eggs hatch, or he will eat them.
Sociability:
Mildly aggressive with each other, territorial when breeding. Okay with most other fish.
Related Spec:
Splash Tetra (Copella arnoldi)
Special Info:
Can lay over 1000 eggs in one spawning. Very easy to care for.
