Tank: 24" (60 cm) minimum
Requirements: Likes cover, and prefers a school. Can take care of itself with many tankmates.
Diet: Anything, not picky. Frozen or prepared both eaten equally.
Breeding: very soft water, neutral to acid pH. Males: elongated dorsal.
Sociability: Keep in shoals. Do not keep with timid tankmates.
