Stats:

Adult Size: 6" (10 cm)
Temp: 72-79 F ( C)
Tank: 36" ( cm) minimum

Requirements:
Open area at the top of the tank and a close fitting cover. Danios have a tendency to jump.
Diet:
Not picky, food that floats is eaten faster, but they also scour the gravel.
Breeding:
Easy. Egg-scattering like other danios. Easiest using breeding tank with feathery plants and marble substrate, remove adults after eggs are laid.
Sociability:
Keep in groups, at least 5 to a set. Can be kept wioth most other fish avoid top dwellers that are slow-moving as the danios might bother them.

Giant Danios are very much like the zebra danio in temperment, but can get along with larger tankmates.
