Temp: 75-86 F (24-30 C)
Tank: 36" (90 cm) minimum

Requirements:
 Hiding Places a must. Plants for cover. Caves appreciated
Diet:
 Algae. Prepared foods more often taken when older.

Sociability:
 Should be kept singly, and can get very territorial as it ages. Do not keep with Flat Bodied Slow moving fish, as these fish can be very tempted to attack tankmates.

Very Commonly sold as merely Algae Eater. Watch out for its adult size, and temperment.
