Stats:	Adult Size: 2 1/2" ( 6.25 cm) Temp: 76-82 (24-27 C ) Tank: 30" (75 cm) minimum
Requirements:	Black Ruby Barbs do best with some open areas, but lots of cover to retreat into if surprised.
Diet:	Mixed, generally not picky, will eat most prepared or frozen fare.
Breeding:	Males have the purple-red head coloration. Females look much like tiger barbs. Breeding like all barbs, egg-scatterer.
Sociability:	Keep in groups, of at least 2 females per male. They are not as nippy as Tiger Barbs, but long-finned tankmates need not apply.
