Red Indian Rainbow Fish (Glossolepis incisus)

Synonyms: Jewel Rainbowfish
Stats: Adult Size: 6 " (15 cm)
Temp: 72-82 F (22-28 C)
Tank: 48" (120 cm) minimum
Requirements: Plants and cover preferred, leafy plants best. Open Swimming area also preferred.
Diet: Omnivore, small live relished.
Breeding: Males are red, females tan with markings. For more fry, breed them on Mops, and transfer the eggs to a rearing tank.
Sociability: Should be kept in groups, with at least 2 females for every male.
