Stats:

Adult Size: 2.5" (8 cm)
Temp: 76-79 F (24-26 C)
Tank: 36" (90 cm) minimum

Requirements:
Plants and cover preferred, leafy plants best.
Diet:
Anything, small live relished.
Breeding:
Males have more brilliant coloring, taller body, bright red fins. Continuous spawners. Mops or Java Moss are the easiest spawning material. Will leave fry alone if well fed. Larger groups of fry will appear if mops or moss are removed to a hatching and rearing tank.
Sociability:
Should be kept in groups, with at least 2 females for every male.

Unlike many rainbows, dwarf neon's prefer acidic soft water to basic hard water.
