My personal preference is for reptiles that are handleable. I can see the draw of display animals, but I personally like the ability to in an emergency stick my hand in a cage and remove an animal without causing it undue stress, or losing a finger. That said the profiles are going to be limited to easy to care for animals or very common pet store species.
Amphibians - Frogs, Toads, Salamanders, Newts
Invertebrates - Spiders, Scorpions, Crickets
Lizards - Geckos, Iguanids, Agamids
Snakes - Pythons, Colubrids, and other snakes
Terrapins - Turtles and Tortoise
