Rodents

The area for mice, rats, gerbils, hamster, and cavies (guinea pigs). Rodents are often classroom pets, or a child's first pet (we don't count that poor goldfish who paved the way.) Rodents are also many adult's pets. Rats are quite smart and have many followers.

Hamsters -- Reputedly all descended from 5 individuals from the same litter.

Rats -- Larger cousins of mace that make most people go eekk!

Mice -- An animal that has single-handedly moved across the entire world following out example.
